Ep29 - Why I Started Therapy
Several months ago I decided to begin weekly therapy sessions. However, I used to believe therapy wasn't for me and unnecessary. As I’ve developed and grown, I have found that therapy can be beneficial to anyone. In fact, studies show that in the United States, 46.4% of people will experience a mental illness during their lifetime. Mental illness can be defined as everyday disturbances that affect the way you function in everyday life OR a serious mental disorder. So as you listen to today’s episode, do so with an open mind and receptive heart.
